Position Description: Cleveland Opera Theater was founded in 2006 as Opera Per Tutti by former Executive Director Andrea Anelli on the belief that people from all backgrounds and socio-economic status, if given the opportunity, would be moved by the unique beauty and transformative qualities of opera.

Cleveland Opera Theater is seeking detail oriented volunteers to work remotely to support the administrative staff in data collection, compilation, and documentation. The company requires regular assistance in preparing for and marketing upcoming events as well as recruiting new clients and artists.

Commitment: 2-10 hours per week, flexible schedule

Location: Remote/Virtual

Reports to: Director of Education and Outreach

Duties:

• Research prospective clients to support marketing efforts
• Update spreadsheets and mailing lists
• Data entry including client and audience data
• Market research regarding trends and best practices
• Other administrative duties as needed
• Place calls to potential venues, clients, and artists as needed
• Help maintain company’s Salesforce database

Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be motivated to work independently
• Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
