Come join us as we need to prune, de-leaf and weed all 3,500 rose bushes! This annual event has become one of the most popular volunteer events with the City of San Jose! You'll learn proper pruning techniques while helping to enhance one of San Jose's most popular tourist attractions!
All tools are provided.
Please bring a filled water bottle.
Dress for the weather: layering works well!
The event goes on, rain or shine!
No pre-registration: simply show up and help out!
Community service hours will be awarded.
Families--come volunteer together!

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.
Description
The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
