Help your community and the environment by volunteering at our Red Bridge Community Recycling Centers! This outdoor volunteer opportunity is great for students who need to complete service learning hours this semester. Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard, assisting patrons, etc. Flexible shifts - Wednesday through Saturday.
Red Bridge Recycling Center is located in South Kansas City. We have a special need for Saturday afternoon volunteers. All volunteers must register in advance. Deadline: Fri, Feb 23, 4:00 pm. Text or call Amy, 816-561-1062 to sign up, or email volunteer@bridgingthegap.org

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
