Ho Ho Whoa! That’s a lot of holiday packaging! Help us manage the influx of post-holiday waste! Grab your family, and volunteer outside with us at the Red Bridge Community Recycling Center. This is a great opportunity for students on holiday break. Volunteers assist patrons with unloading recyclables, and assist the site manager with breaking down cardboard, maintenance, and other needs.
Shifts: 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm. If those exact times do not work for you, we can be flexible.
The Red Bridge Recycling Center is located at 5200 E. Red Bridge Rd., Kansas City, MO 64137 in the KCATA Park-and-Ride commuter parking lot. All volunteers must register in advance. To sign up and for more info, call or text Amy Smith at 816-561-1062 or email volunteer@bridgingthegap.org.

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
