Our non-profit organization is developing some new programs that will require a digital platform and do not have the necessary skills in house to support our needs. We are looking for some volunteers to help assess and strengthen our current website and to help us plan for our future needs.

Mission Statement

We cultivate empathy and belonging through innovative, multidisciplinary youth programs that embrace cultural differences and unify school communities.

Description

We design programs and curricula to help educators and education leaders unify their culturally complex classrooms and schools. We use literature and art as anchors for supporting the development of the social & emotional competencies needed for successful global citizenship. Our work will explore themes related to identity, empathy, and an increased sense of belonging.

We are currently working with one of the largest school districts in the U.S.: Fairfax County. We would like to expand our work to ten schools in Fairfax County over the next three years.

We have an eight-member board of directors and a small team of volunteers who are all committed to supporting this cause. We are a diverse and growing team.
