Carrollwood Players, Tampa's oldest continually-running nonprofit community theatre, Needs YOU!
Volunteer as "front of house" staff for an upcoming show and you get to see the show on our Mainstage or in The CWP Black Box for FREE!
You can sign up for one of the following assignments:
Concessions: Sell snacks and drinks at our concession stand (must be 18+)
Programs: Hand out programs and welcome patrons as they enter the theatre from the lobby.
Prepaid Check-In: Check in patrons who purchased their tickets online.
50/50 Raffle: Sell raffle tickets to raise funds for our scholarship and building funds.
All volunteers also assist anywhere else needed and must help with clean-up and taking out the trash following the performance.
Volunteers are expected to arrive one hour and fifteen minutes prior to curtain time (arrive at 6:45 pm for 8 pm shows, 1:45 pm for 3 pm shows, and 9:45 pm for 11 pm shows) and to stay after the performance to assist with clean-up.
Smart casual attire is requested.
High school seniors can earn volunteer hour credit needed for Bright Futures Scholarship when volunteering.

The mission of Carrollwood Players Theatre is to promote a greater knowledge of the theater arts and skills by developing talent and training members in all branches of dramatic presentation, fostering and promoting exchange of information, experience, and ideas, and presenting a variety of stage productions for the entertainment and education of its members and the entire community.
Description
Carrollwood Players Theatre, Tampa's Community Theatre since 1981, embraces community participation in the arts at a grassroots level by welcoming volunteers from all walks of life to participate in the creation of live theatre by and for members of our community.
We present nine mainstage productions every season in our intimate 76 seat theatre, including musicals and plays. Additionally, numerous special productions and events are presented in our 60-seat Black Box Theatre.
We welcome all to come and participate in our organization, whether experienced or novice.
