As part of our response to childhood hunger, Harvesters offers Kids Cafe meals at after-school centers serving children in eligible areas. Kids Cafe provides nutritious after-school meals and offers learning activities to help develop good eating habits to last a lifetime.
Volunteers are needed for office clerical help for Kids Cafe. Volunteers will need to have attention to detail to help consolidate paperwork and check paperwork for accuracy.
Desired Skills:
- Volunteers must be dependable and be available 8-10 hours per week during weekday, daytime hours.
- Attention to details and organizational skills are required.
- Must be comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry.
- Must be an independent worker.
- Communication skills are important to report missing or inaccurate paperwork to Government Programs Manager.
- Ability to sit for most of volunteer time.
