Compassus Hospice is looking for pet therapy volunteers to join our team. Volunteers are a crucial part of hospice and we are looking to expand and give our patients the opportunity to interact with pet partners. All volunteers must have a background check, be TB tested and have a valid driver's license and car insurance. Also, the pet that will be visiting must have shot records from veterinarian and be a certified pet therapy dog with a certificate of proof. Training will be completed at our Seven Hills office prior to visiting patients.
Compassus is dedicated to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and providing comfort and support for patients and their families with end-of-life issues. Volunteers are a critical part of our organization. Please inquire about volunteer opportunities today. Contact Tanya Gustafson, LSW, MSW at 440.899.7659 or email me at Tanya.gustafson@compassus.com
We look forward to meeting you and your pet today!!!
