Meals on Wheels Collin County is looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver meals to disabled and older adults in McKinney!
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday starting at 11:00am, with most routes having about 10 seniors and taking around an hour to complete. To become a Meals on Wheels driver, there are just a couple steps to complete:
- Complete the volunteer application and background check form.
- Attend a drivers training, which we hold every Wednesday at 2:00pm at our McKinney office (600 N Tennessee St). Please bring your completed documents, $10 for the background check processing fee, your drivers license, and a copy of your auto insurance.

Description
Meals on Wheels: Provides home delivered breakfast, lunch, and weekend meals and also provides lunch meals at six senior centers county-wide.
Meals on Wheels Collin County is a 501(c)(3); a private nonprofit organization committed to serving the needs of the elderly and disabled residents within Collin County since 1976. Today, assisted by over 800 volunteers, in excess of 1,200 home delivered and congregate meals are served daily from our kitchen located in McKinney, Texas.
