Meals on Wheels Collin County is looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver meals to disabled and older adults in Collin County!
With a drop site at the Allen Senior Center, we make volunteering with us easy and accessible to anyone interested. Meals are delivered between 11:00am-1:00pm Monday through Friday and most routes have about 10 seniors and take an hour to complete.
To become a Meals on Wheels driver, there are a couple steps to complete:
- Complete the volunteer application and background check form.
- Attend a driver's training, which we hold every Wednesday at 2:00pm at 600 N Tennessee St in McKinney. Please bring your completed documents, $10 for the background check processing fee, your drivers license and your current auto insurance.

Description
Meals on Wheels: Provides home delivered breakfast, lunch, and weekend meals and also provides lunch meals at six senior centers county-wide.
Meals on Wheels Collin County is a 501(c)(3); a private nonprofit organization committed to serving the needs of the elderly and disabled residents within Collin County since 1976. Today, assisted by over 800 volunteers, in excess of 1,200 home delivered and congregate meals are served daily from our kitchen located in McKinney, Texas.
