Meals on Wheels Collin County is looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver meals to disabled and older adults in Collin County!
With a drop site at the Allen Senior Center, we make volunteering with us easy and accessible to anyone interested. Meals are delivered between 11:00am-1:00pm Monday through Friday and most routes have about 10 seniors and take an hour to complete.
To become a Meals on Wheels driver, there are a couple steps to complete:
Complete the volunteer application and background check form.
Attend a driver's training, which we hold every Wednesday at 2:00pm at 600 N Tennessee St in McKinney. Please bring your completed documents, $10 for the background check processing fee, your drivers license and your current auto insurance.
You can register for one of our training sessions, as well as find the necessary forms at https://www.vomo.org/project/54EKNUnNeqDi6x8rzYTQpr
Once you've completed these, we'll get you on a route that best fits your availability and location and get you delivering soon!
