Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is helping spread holiday cheer by assisting families in need through our "Adopt-A-Family" program and other holiday giving programs. CFI needs volunteers to assist in greeting families and donors, organizing gift donations (this activity may require lifting 15 lbs or more), loading and unloading vehicles with donations, etc at our main office location, 1111 University Ave in Des Moines. Other activities may include organizing the Toy Distribution Room, picking up donations from area businesses, and data entry. Shifts are from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, then 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. You can choose just one shift, or multiple.
