Volunteer your time, talent, and resources to benefit children and adults with disabilities in the Central Pennsylvania area. We have several yearly events that we are seeking volunteers to serve as planning committee members.

The Wonder Ball is a black tie optional gala event. This event features a story book themes and includes dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction. The 2021 Wonder Ball will be held on April 10, 2021.

The Office Olympix fundraiser provides a way for organizations to engage in friendly themed competitive games while raising funds for Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania. The 2021 Office Olympix event will be held in June.

Easterseals Golf Tournament will be held in May. The tournament is a day of fun, sun, and golf. The event features Lunch, Golf, Dinner and games.

Description

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

  • Horseback Riding, Bowling, Waterskiing, Kayaking, Climbing, Music, Drama, Art, Fitness, social groups and more.
  • ACES Social Program tailored for individuals diagnosed with High Functioning Autism.
  • Day, week, and respite camps throughout the year with boating, fishing, zip lining, pool, fireside activities, and more.
MILITARY SERVICES
  • Project Beacon Respite Weekend provides weekend camps to children (with or without disability) of active servicemembers and veterans four times a year.

Sign Language Interpreting Services

  • We coordinate over 1200 interpreting sessions per year for the deaf and hearing impaired.
