Role brief: The Adwords ADS copywriter is a virtual volunteer position that works directly with the Adwords and SEO team to generate copy for new ads. This position is responsible for creating new ads copy.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal teams to understand priorities

• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit ads copy
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Manage updates and revisions to ads
• Writing easy-to-understand ads
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS in advertising - marketing or equivalent preferred
• Experience in technical writing
• Basic working knowledge of Adwords
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum volunteer hours expected: 5 - 7 hrs per week
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to deliver high-quality copy and paying attention to detail
