Weekend help needed at southern Maine's farm animal sanctuary. We're looking for volunteers to clean out stalls, mend fences and help with other projects in the barns and barnyards. You will be working in close proximity to farm animals and must be comfortable and mindful around them.
Hours are 9:30-11:30am Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Description
Graze in Peace is a farm animal sanctuary and learning center located on 20 acres just north of Portland, Maine. Our current rescued residents include chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, sheep and llamas. Along with sanctuary to over 60 farmed animals, we offer humane education, community outreach, and therapeutic Care Farm activities where displaced, disadvantaged or disabled people can come use the therapeutic setting of our rescue farm as a place for healing and learning.
