Group Opportunity at Farm Animal Rescue

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

591 Pinkham Brook RdDurham, ME 04222

If you have a work group wanting to do volunteer hours, we've got projects for you! We always need help with fence-building and repair, barnyard and grounds cleanup, shed building, painting and upkeep, garden planting and trail building. Let us know the size of your group and we will work to accommodate your team for the day.

Graze in Peace, southern Maine's farm animal rescue and education center, is adding a care farm program to its farm sanctuary. Many of the older fences and pastures which were good enough for the health and safety of the animals here are in need of updating to accommodate handicapped and other vulnerable groups which will be using our farm starting Spring, 2018. We can use all the hands-on help we can get to make this happen. If you can use a screwdriver, a hammer, a saw or a pitchfork, we can use your help!

Thank you!
