Time is our most precious gift. Share your gift of time with a hospice patient.

Time is limited yet of eternal value. What makes it so is how you use it and to whom you give it. Share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are needed - just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend.

Great Lakes Caring, a leading home health and hospice agency, is looking for Companion Volunteers in the Andover, N. Andover, Burlington, Haverhill and Newburyport area who willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local patients and their families. As a Companion Volunteer you will visit patients in local nursing communities or their home and spend quality time with them playing cards/games, watching TV, reading, listening to music or simply chatting. There is no direct physical care involved.

Hours are flexible- weekdays, evening, and weekends. Typically we ask that you visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week.

For additional information please contact Christi Balloch, Volunteer Coordinator, at 978-518-1719 or by email at cballoch@greatlakescaring.com
