SEEKING COMPANION VOLUNTEERS!!
Make a Difference...
Elara Caring Hospice in Newburyport, MA is looking for Caring, Compassionate Companion Volunteers to visit hospice patients who live in Essex and Northern Middlesex Counties. Volunteers offer companionship and support through conversation, reading, playing cards, singing, watching TV, playing music or simply sitting together. No direct physical contact required; just a desire to support individuals nearing the end of life and their families. Visits take place in homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Training provided. Hours are flexible (weekends, evenings, daytime, etc., 1 - 2 hours per week). COVID-19 restrictions upheld per CDC Guidelines and facility requirements

Elara Caring is currently looking for Volunteers: Companion Volunteers, Pet Therapy, Office Volunteers, Veteran Volunteers, Teen Volunteers and Crafting Volunteers.
