Make a Difference!! BECOME A COMPANION VOLUNTEER!!

We are onboarding and training Companion Volunteers. Our office located in Byfield services the North Shore area. Companion Volunteers donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life support and care to local patients and their families. As a Volunteer you will visit patients at Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes or their homes and spend quality time with them playing cards/games, watching TV, reading, listening to music or simply being there. No direct physical care required. We are also asking our Volunteers if a facility has COVID-19 restrictions to think outside the box, be creative become a pen pal or make phone calls. We encourage imagination.

Hours are flexible- weekdays, evening, and weekends and are typically 1-2 hours per week.
