In order to make crafty reuse more available for all the holiday festivities going on in December, EcoWorks has expanded its hours to include Sundays from 1-4pm. Please join Lisa on Sunday for all or part of 1-4pm to greet EcoWorks visitors, brainstorm and/or create some artwork or crafts from up-cycled and found materials donated by community members, do some organizing and showcasing to promote the great materials on-hand, and assist visitors in finding the items they would like to incorporate into their eco-friendly creations! If you enjoy chatting with new people, feel free to station yourself on the register team to meet and get to know EcoWorks visitors and learn about the interesting projects they are working on. A kitchenette is available for making and enjoying tea, heating some lunch, having a snack, or keeping a favorite (non-alcoholic) beverage cool. EcoWorks is 99% volunteer-powered, so having you join the team is the most wonderful holiday gift of all, for the whole reuse community!

Description
Creative Reuse Center; we sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and other creative people. Materials are industrial scrap and business surplus in addition to donations from individuals. 2. reBoutique gift shop; consign with Connecticut based artists who use reclaimed materials in their work. 3. reCraft; we provide workshops and classes as well as a DIY maker-space Crafteria). We also offer workshops on how to use the scrap and environmental classes. We also house a reBoutique gift shop that showcases upcycled and repurposed goods made by CT artisans.
News Flash: We have moved to 89 State Street, North Haven. Just want to let you know that there are no buses that run to out new store. We''ve packed everything up at the store and most of our materials are now in the new store. Our challenge is going to be unpacking and setting up our new store. We're not quite ready for new volunteers at this time. However, by mid August we will be thrilled to have lots more hands! If you're interested you can still send us an email.
