Are you motivated, smart and good at collaborating with people? Are you organized, a team player and someone genuinely interested in helping people in other parts of the world? Do you care about the rights of others, particularly women, children and girls in the developing world and wish you could do something to help? Well this may be your chance!
We are Drop in the Bucket, a Los Angeles based water, sanitation and gender equality charity with field offices in Uganda and South Sudan. We are looking to start planning more events in Southern California and we need your help!
We are interested in planning fundraisers benefit concerts, sponsored walks and other events in the Southern California area and we are looking for people interested in getting involved and making a huge difference. If that sounds like you, please get in touch!

Mission Statement
Drop in the Bucket’s mission is to assist community development in sub-Saharan Africa by building wells and sanitation systems at schools; thus enabling children, especially girls to get an education and realize their full potential. Since inception we have built over 350 wells.
Description
Everyday 10,000 children under the age of 5 die from water related illnesses and 80% of the diseases in developing countries are related to poor drinking water and sanitation.
Drop in the Bucket installs water wells and sanitation systems at large rural schools in sub-Saharan Africa. We are a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit that has installed over 350 wells in 7 countries.
Our premise is that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and in order for kids to get an education, their day-to day survival tasks need to be simplified especially when it comes to the access of resources whether these are material, natural or informational.
A cornerstone of our approach is low overhead and minimal operating costs. We are dedicated to guaranteeing our donors that as much of their hard-earned money goes into the program as possible.
