Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Fight For Air Climb on Saturday, March 9th! Milwaukee holds the #1 Climb in the Nation with over 3,500 participants and 400 volunteers which makes the Fight For Air Climb a very exciting event to be a part of.

To give you a little more information about our event, the Fight for Air Climb is a vertical stair climb in the U.S. Bank Center. One aspect that makes this event more unique is we have over 250 of Wisconsin’s firefighters climb the tower in full firefighting gear. Funds raised at this event support the American Lung Association's clean air initiatives, vital programs and research in the fight against lung cancer, asthma, emphysema and other lung diseases.

Volunteers are asked to help during at least one entire volunteer shift. Event shifts are Friday, March 8th from 5-8pm and Saturday, March 9th from 6-11:30 a.m. or 11 a.m.-3 p.m. A few of the volunteer tasks include: replenishing the water stations, registration, greeters, gear check and passing out food/beverages. We ask that all volunteers are willing to stand for a majority of the volunteer shift as this is a fast paced event with little time to sit.
