Are you interested in working with children? Looking for more experience learning about children's programming? Maybe you're looking for an opportunity to connect with others, help out The Salvation Army, and spend a few hours away from home?
Well we're looking for volunteers to assist our children's program staff every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. You would help us facilitate snack, Character building, arts and crafts, dinner time, and Parent Pick-Up. You must be at least 18 or older, able to come in for an interview and pass a background check, commit to training and have availability on Thursday nights, but we'll work around your schedule!
We are looking for each volunteer to be actively involved with the children, accept daily assignments from the lead group leader, assist children in craft and art projects, activities, and Bible discussions. We are looking for someone to model appropriate behaviors that we are looking to promote which are in line with our value system and beliefs.
So do you have a genuine love for children, a creative spirit, flexibility, and a lot of patience? Then please contact us!!
Please respond with the reason you are interested and a talent or interest you can bring to the team that we might be able to create programming around.
