Volunteer Project Title: Magazine Subscription Data Entry
Department: Marketing/Communications
Volunteer Project Manager: Lynn Bronikowski, content marketing manager
Time Commitment: 2 - 3 hours a week at your convenience
Project Description: StrokeSmart magazine is a leading educational tool of the National Stroke Association. It is produced quarterly and year-round sees people signing up to receive it. Our volunteer would read subscription forms that are mailed to us and enter the data from those forms in our database so that readers continue to receive StrokeSmart magazine or start a new subscription. We will train you in how to enter the data on the computer using a template that is simple to use.
Impact of Volunteer Project: You will be helping to keep readers of StrokeSmart magazine informed of news, features, expert advice and inspiring stories. Our readers-including stroke survivors, caregivers and healthcare providers- look forward to receiving StrokeSmart magazine each quarter and your volunteer work to keep our database up-to-date is crucial to our magazine circulation which grows every quarter.
Skills and Qualifications Needed: Basic computer and typing skills. Once you log on, our template easily takes you through the steps for entering data to keep subscriptions up to date.
If you are interested in applying for this project please send a cover letter and resume to: Amy Herron, Senior Coordinator, Programs, at aherron@stroke.org
