Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City, GA

Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City is looking to recruit 2 new volunteers who have great organization skills to assist a patient in the Sharpsburg, GA area with COPD. We are also looking for a volunteer for the Griffin, GA area to assist a cancer patient.

Here are services that our volunteers can provide:

Some Things Volunteers Can Do with Patients (Direct Care):

• Go for a walk
• Play Cards
• Write Letter
• Pray
• Arts and Craft
• Light Housework
• Care for animals
• listen to music
• remember special days
• plant flowers
• sing together
• light yard work
• run errands
• listen
• light meal prep
• play games
• Read Books
• Bereavement Support
• organizing the patient's documents
• etc.

Things Volunteers Can do (non-direct Care)

• Assist in the Serenity office
• Bake Goods
• Help host events at Assisted Living Facilities
• Help out at community events
• Make Birthday Cards
• etc.
