Colfax Community Network will be hosting a huge holiday event for over 800 families experiencing homelessness in the Aurora area. Attendees will get to pick out gifts, wrap gifts, enjoy a festive meal, a visit from Santa, stockings, and so much more!
We are looking for volunteers to volunteer for the day of the event and also donate needed items.
The event is Saturday, December 23rd from 9:30am-6pm. If you are interested in volunteering, you can choose between the morning shift 9:30- 2pm and the afternoon shift is from 1:30-6pm.
You can choose between the following stations.
- Organize and set up the night before (Friday, the 22nd from 2pm-8pm)
- Scarf and Hat Table
- Cleaning and Clearing Trash
- Kitchen
- Adult Wrapping Room (morning shift is full)
- Adult Shopping Room
- Volunteer Elves
- Stocking Room
- Escorts/Guides
- Photographer
- Spanish Speaking Announcer
- Your full name
- your top two volunteer station choices
- Your preferred shift, morning or afternoon
- If you can speak Spanish

Colfax Community Network provides emergency food, clothing and housing assistance to families living in transient housing. CCN's afterschool program provides a safe place with fun activities for children ages 6-12.
