Volunteer reading mentors will spend one hour, two days a week (either Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday) where they will see 2 students for 1/2 hour each, helping them to improve their reading fluency and comprehension. Morning times are 8:15 to 9:15, and afternoon blocks are 2:20 to 3:20 p.m. We ask that each volunteer commit to at least one hour-long block, either mornings or afternoons, for the duration of the school year. However, if you are able to help for at least a couple of months, we would love to have you!
