Rise is hosting our annual holiday party for the people we serve and staff on December 13 at the Banquets of Minnesota in Fridley. We are seeking volunteers to help at this fun and festive event! This event is a big hit for the people we serve with dinner and dancing to the band Pirates, Guitars & Beachfront Bars. So bring your dancing shoes as it is sure to be a great time!
Decorators (2 people): We are seeking volunteers to help decorate the space and make it look festive! This will be from 3:30-5:30
Registration table (3-4 people): Are you a quick problem solver and highly organized? We would love your help at our registration table at the event! You will help answer questions, collect money, provide name tags, and welcome all our guests to the party. This will be from 5:30-6:30
Servers (4-5 people): We are seeking volunteers to help serve food at the event. This will be from 5:30-6:30

Description
Rise offers over 40 programs to assist people in meeting their employment and housing goals. These include vocational assessment, career planning, job training, job placement, and follow-up support services as well as outreach to people who are homeless, independent living skills training, and transitional housing. Headquartered in Spring Lake Park since 1971, Rise has 30 offices located in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Western Wisconsin, and we work with hundreds of businesses in those communities.
