Your gift of time is priceless as a one time volunteer for the Association for Individual Development.

Whether your group would like to spend a fun day working with our clients, or prefers to assist "behind the scenes" on a clerical, maintenance or special project, your time will be greatly appreciated.

We have locations in Aurora, Elgin, Batavia, Sugar Grove and Yorkville, and we will be flexible with your day and hours.

Group volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We ask that groups to commit to a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering on the day.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
