Empower adults with disabilities and special needs in our Sugar Grove community activity adult day program. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available including: assistance with lunch time activities, arts & crafts activities, coaching on computers, cooking, exercise/fitness and gardening.

Weekday daytime volunteers, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. are our greatest need, but occasionally have opportunities on the weekends. We ask that regular volunteers commit to at least one, 3-4 hour shift a week.

We also have one-time and group volunteer opportunities, contact us for more information.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
