The Volunteer Coordinator helps connect people interested in volunteering with the right people in the organization. You’ll review the volunteer applications and reach out to new volunteers for more information as needed. If they want to volunteer to help at events, you’ll add them to our event contact list. If they want to help out in a different capacity, you’ll connect them with the appropriate person in the organization. Most of the work will be done from home, although it would be nice if you could attend our meetings (which are once every month or two). We anticipate the role will take 1-3 hours per month.
The right person will be able to work independently and respond to people in a timely manner. You'll likely be the first person in the organization a new volunteer comes in contact with, so good customer services skills are important.
