Mitzvah Circle Foundation helps those who are homeless, underserved and who fall through the cracks of traditional services. We cut through red tape to get essential items into the hands of those who need them, providing them with dignity and support to help them move forward in their lives. We help over 40,000 people a year.
Our Event Planning Intern will assist with our two major fundraising events - which are typically held in March and September and are attended by several hundred people. Our next event is early March and we expect approximately 400 attendees. We are looking for your creativity and knowledge of planning and running events smoothly! We need your expertise in hospitality management to work with our volunteer committee. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking real-world experience in all aspects of event planning and management. We are located in Harleysville, Pennsylvania and the intern would need to be in our facility from 10-15 hours largely during the week, possibly with some evenings or weekends. This position is unpaid, although we will work with students toward academic credit.
This opportunity is available for all semesters - spring, summer and fall!
