Volunteer(s) Needed to Pick Up Ambulance & Medical Supplies

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: United States Volunteer Emergency Management

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Our volunteers work to support front line responders (the ambulance would be used as an Incident Support vehicle, used for disaster rehab [such as taking care of firefighters during a large incident], hazardous materials incidents, mass casualty, etc.)

Our partner in Idaho has a large donation of medical supplies, rescue equipment, and an ambulance available for us, however as we are currently recruiting for our new location we must reach out to the community for help -
We need to either raise the funds to have the items and ambulance shipped here OR find a volunteer with enough availability, and the skills (anyone who can handle the larger size of an ambulance), to travel to Idaho (fly out/drive with a partner, your choice), the ambulance will be loaded to the brim with emergency services equipment/medical and aid supplies, and drive it back to Westchester.

Would be a great trip for a retired couple or student of the emergency services (fire/EMT/medic/etc.)

USVEM is on You Caring, Volunteer March, and working with Volunteer New York for Operation Cookie Run 2017.

Thank you for your support!
