Want to make a difference in the community and positively impact an individual's life? Here's your chance! At Wealth By Health Steps For Change Foundation, we are dedicated to serving underprivileged individuals through our various initiatives. To accomplish this, volunteers are at the very heart of our mission and will assist with the functions of the events. Location and time will be based on where and when the specific event is taking place.
May 20th, 2018: Free Medical Clinic Event
The Wealth By Health Steps For Change Foundation's May 20th, 2018 Free Medical Clinic Event will provide free health services to low income individuals who do not have access to affordable healthcare. We will be providing services such as Western Medicine, Chinese Medicine, and Dental Care.
Volunteers will assist with the set up of event, checking in of patients, assisting patients with paperwork, leading patients to the correct medical station, serving as the assistant to a medical professional, answering any patient questions, etc.
Volunteer training will be on Saturday, May 19th, 2018.

To improve the health and wellbeing of underserved populations by providing accessible resources that will empower individuals to achieve a greater quality of life.
Description
Founded in 2016 on the basis that attaining quality health care should be accessible to all people, we first established a mobile clinic to provide free health services for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured families in areas classified as "healthcare deserts". With just one doctor and one dentist, we set out to serve elderly patients at a local temple. Over time, more healthcare providers reached out to express their shared vision in increasing health equity. Today, our team of healthcare providers include dentists, dental hygienists, physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, acupuncturists, and optometrists.
We envision a healthier and more equitable world where every human being has an equal opportunity to succeed in life- where all sectors of society come together to reduce social and economic inequities- and where individuals inspire each other to be in active pursuit of social good until it is achieved.
