Responsibilities of the Content Manager/blogger Volunteer
Pitch ideas for Wordpress blog post that align with the mission of FSC-PS
Write and edit blog posts and publish them on FSC-PS blog.
Implement SEO strategies
Create content for FSC-PS quarterly newsletter and send it out.
Promote the blog through social media, MailChimp newsletter
Experience in content creation for a blog or a newsletter
Experience in Social Media marketing basics
Exceptional communication skills written and verbal.
Interest and experience in the topics related to the mission of FSC-PS.
Can do Attitude
This position requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per week . We offer a lot of flexibility in when and how you complete those hours and many of the tasks and responsibilities can be done remotely, working online, at a time that is convenient for you.

The FSC-PS CF (Foundation) provides support to the Urban Financial Services Coalition- Puget Sound Chapter by funding financial, professional development and education programs, as well as community and economic development programs for underserved individuals and communities. The Foundation also supports community organizations and programs, offers scholarships to individuals, and funding to efforts aimed at promoting minority business, entrepreneurship, and economic development programs external to the UFSC organization.

To promote economic development and provide technical, educational, and advisory assistance to economically disadvantaged communities.
To provide scholarships to college bound students from economically disadvantaged communities who have expressed an interest in the financial services industry.
To help educate and inform youth about the employment opportunities available in the financial services industry.
