ORGANIZATION: Meridian Library District

Do you love books or media? Have you always wanted to get involved with your local library? Help out the library this summer as a Library Organizer. This is perfect if you'd like to work closely with books, media, and learn about the library environment. Volunteers get the chance to make a big impact on the library during the busy Summer Reading season.

Volunteers trained in the basics of Library Organizing go on to help with holds, shelf-reading, handling donations, reordering recent return carts, and shelving media. Join our fun and enthusiastic team of library-lovers and community-oriented folks!

Volunteers are appreciated with our volunteer Kudos program. Every year, we have an annual volunteer appreciation gathering. We recognize outstanding volunteers every month in our volunteer newsletter. There are many more benefits to becoming a Meridian Library volunteer!

Interested? Visit our volunteer page at mld.org/volunteer to apply or email pamela@mld.org.
