Do you want to learn more about greenhouses and urban farming? Join us on Saturday, March 24, 2018, for a light work day at our hoophouses located at Woodland Garden site. We will be transplanting recent seedlings and preparing seedlings for the late winter.
This will be an opportunity to help on the site with projects like raking leaves and other late fall tasks. The hoop houses are generally warmer than the normal outside temperature but, still dress accordingly to the winter.

Description
The Park Heights Community Health Alliance (PHCHA) was organized in 1996, in a partnership between Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and a handful of concerned Park Heights community residents. The Park Heights community is disproportionately affected by a variety of negative health status indicators. In collaboration with community partners such as Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Park West Medical Systems, and a host of others, we seek to have a positive impact on the community at large.
PHCHA is committed to improving access to primary care for residents of Baltimore City. PHCHA's goal is to help maximize the Park Heights community's potential as a healthy, safe, and vital neighborhood.
