MetroLacrosse is a non-profit youth development program that serves low-income boys and girls in Dorchester and Chelsea. We are looking for volunteer coaches to assist our staff members in teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse. We have 3/4, 5/6th, and 7/8th grade youth teams, and will have 3 coaches per team.
Teams practice twice per week, from 6-7:30pm:
Chelsea Girls: Tues/Thurs
Chelsea Boys: Mon/Wed
Dorchester Girls: Mon/Wed
Dorchester Boys: Tues/Thurs

MetroLacrosse is a non-profit organization with a proud 15+ year history of serving urban youth throughout Greater Boston and beyond.
Our mission is to foster positive life enrichment, character development and healthy life choices among urban youth and teens through enhanced participation in lacrosse. The organization’s lacrosse based sports-learning programming connects players, families, volunteers, donors and staff in powerful and intentional ways. Unlike traditional lacrosse programs, MetroLacrosse offers year-round participation for youth from urban neighborhoods, attend public schools (more than 80%) 3rd - 12th grade and are multi-lingual (more than 34% have ESL households).
MetroLacrosse relies on over 150 volunteers to support these efforts annually.
