Volunteers Wanted to assist North America's Biggest Pow Wow!

The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow is seeking volunteers to assist and facilitate the activities and events at the 2018 event in Albuquerque New Mexico. The Gathering of Nations is seeking persons and groups with interested in volunteering in various public relations and ushering positions. The Gathering of Nations is an exciting and unique event featuring and highlighting the traditions and cultures of Native Americans. The event attracts over 3000 traditional dancers and singers, over 35 contemporary music groups and other performers, and tens of thousands of spectators and guest from all over the World. Additional features of the event include, The Indian Traders Market, Native Food Court, Tee Pee Village, Traditional Horse and Rider parades, and the Crowning of Miss Indian World.

Description

Gathering of Nations Pow Wow: A festive weekend in Albuquerque for the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow. The pow wow attracts over 3,000 traditional native American singers and dancers, along with native contemporay performers, cultural exhibits, intertribal cultural exchange, native food court, arts and, tens of thousands of spectators and shoppers, arts & crafts market. Held each year, the last weekend of April, in Albuquerque New Mexico at the University of New Mexico.
