VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED! Arc’s Value Village is coming up on what we call "Donation Week", historically the busiest time of the year for receiving donations at our thrift store locations. On the last days of December, the number of donors typically increases dramatically as people make one last trip to the donation drive-thru to donate and collect a tax receipt for 2019.
Volunteers are needed December 29-31 at the donation door at our New Hope location and volunteers will help donors unload their cars and hand out tax receipts.
Currently our greatest volunteer need is for Monday, December 30 and Tuesday, December 31, with Sunday, December 29 as second priority/need.
Volunteer shifts: 10am-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm and 4-6pm.
This is an OUTDOOR project so volunteers will need to bundle up in winter gear--coats, mittens, gloves, hats and boots a must! Refreshments will be provided indoors for volunteers to take breaks and warm up.
All Donation Week volunteers will earn a special 40% off coupon for helping out!

The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
