The following are the explicit duties of President/CEO of FSC-PS CF board:

  • Preside at all meetings of the FSC-PS CF in the absence of the Chairman of the Board.
  • Represent the FSC-PS CF at the nonprofit conferences.
  • Maintain communications with the C Suite Team.
  • Supervise budgetary matters and proper internal control of finances in cooperation with the Executive Financial Officer.

This position is elected to the Board of Directors bi-annually. The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:00PM - 7:30PM via Zoom. Training as Executive Director for 90 days pro bono. Executive compensation policy is effective upon completion of successful 90 day training.

Our mission is to equip stakeholders with financial resources that promote the economic empowerment of youth and BIPOC communities at large. The Foundation also fiscally sponsor community organizations and projects, offers scholarships to individuals, entrepreneurship, and economic development programs.

Description

The objectives of this Corporation shall be, to engage in any lawful act or activity such as any corporation organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Specifically, the objectives of this Corporation shall be:

  • To promote economic development and provide technical, educational, and advisory assistance to economically disadvantaged communities.
  • To provide scholarships to college-bound students from economically disadvantaged communities who have expressed an interest in the financial services industry.
  • To help educate and inform youth about the employment opportunities available in the financial services industry.
