Mentor Middle School Students on a Long-Term Engineering Project

Work with students ranging from 6-8 grades at Jumoke Honors as they tackle a trimester long engineering project of collaboratively researching and designing an off-road capable wheelchair. Students will be working on various topics of research and design.

Expertise in sciences, engineering, etc. not required. Interest in helping students think and explore creative problem-solving as they work through this challenge is required. This program meets weekly on Mondays and Fridays and every other Wednesday between 3:25PM-4:15PM at Jumoke Honors SMaRT at 339 Blue Hills Ave, Hartford, CT. You can come for one day a week or more!
