The mission of The Association for Individual Development is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual and mental health challenges to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose.

Our Vision is to be a recognized leader providing best quality outcomes for individuals serves in areas of housing, employment, community integration, health promotion, recovery and crisis prevention.

We are looking for someone who has and interest in ongoing volunteering and experience, talent or an interest in arts & crafts to work with our adult clients in our Yorkville Day Program.

Volunteers must commit to one 4 hour shift per week, Monday-Friday.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
