- Do you love working outdoors and learning about nature?
- Do you enjoy working in the community and meeting new people?
- Are you looking for a one day project for you, a group, your students, a club or your entire family?
If you responded yes to any of the above, then sign up, get your work clothes on, and get ready to have some fun!
Habitat restoration is an ongoing process and a great volunteer opportunity to learn about plants and animals.
Some of the possible projects you may participate in are:
Cutting invasive shrubs, hauling cut trees and shrubs, raking branches, clearing invasive weeds and trees, wood chipping trails, gardening and more.
Projects will be assigned on the scheduled work day based on weather conditions and the number and skill level of volunteers. All tools will be provided.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 16 or older.
- Volunteers 8 - 15 can volunteer if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- All new volunteers must complete/sign a waiver and bring it to the event.
NOTE: If under 18, the waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Volunteers must arrive promptly to sign-in and receive instructions.

Note: Please bring a water bottle, wear work boots/tough shoes/closed toe that may get wet, muddy or dirty. Wear long pants, long sleeves, and dress appropriately for the weather.
