Take a brief tour of the Fannie Barnes Library located in Brownsville, Brooklyn, NY. We were asked to join forces with Northernstar Youth Initiative and the Fannie Barnes residence to recreate and rebuild their library. In addition we will be adding Adult literacy programs, and youth read alongs to promote literacy and the arts. We are reaching out to the community and volunteers to assist with the following programs.
1. Job readiness
2. Young writers reading group
3. Adult Literacy
4. joys corner
The hours are Monday through Friday 11 to 7 (hours vary and can be negotiable)
