ORGANIZATION: Social Innovation Teams Milano

SIT - Social Innovation Teams Milano is looking for people who are willing to support the activities of Gaye Njorro Foundation in Gambia. This school gives lessons and professional courses to young people in several fields. The school has been founded by Fatou Saine Gaye, who was awarded the Empretec prize as the best social entrepreneur by UNCTAD in 2016.
In order to support and improve the activities of the school we are currently looking for experts in business planning and donor research as well as skilled workers who are going to teach manual jobs to the students.
Part of the collaboration can take place in Gambia.

Social innovation Team (SIT) is a community of innovators and social entrepreneurs. This community creates and sustains projects for social innovation and supports social entrepreneurs that have created social enterprises or nonprofit organizations in Italy or abroad. SIT proposes new forms of active participation creating interdisciplinary project teams that can add value to their specific competencies.

SIT offers the possibility to meets with students, researchers, innovators, professionals and philanthropists, and those with a talent for creativity. We grow and develop ideas, potential and personal competencies so that they may become concrete and sustainable projects. We place our experience and competencies at the disposition of the community, partners, volunteers, and supporters to create a team and for project activities, marketing and financing.
