We meet at Dana Hills High School every Wednesday on their lunch break at 12:19pm.
There are typically 30-40 kids that show up at each meeting. The meeting space is a classroom.
Sometimes we begin by playing a game with the group (like introductions or word games). Then we listen to a volunteer's divorce story while we eat free food.
We've had luck with Olive Garden, Chipotle & Chick-fil-A. Restaurants like these have a donation budget, but we don't want to tap these 3 restaurants out and outstay our welcome :). We need people like you to help find more restaurants with big hearts for these kids.

Description
We meet at Dana Hills High School every Wednesday at their lunch 12:19pm
There are typically 30-40 kids that show up at each meeting. The meeting space is a classroom. The Middletown gives the students free lunch just for attending.
The citizens of middletown are you and us and everyone whose parents are separated. When parents separate, sometimes crazy things happen. It can get sooooo crazy. But that’s actually pretty normal. It’s just regular crazy.
The middletown is a safe, neutral, supportive place to be with fellow citizens. We say "I know what you mean"... and we really do. We laugh and cry because being sad together mak es us happy. We make new friends, we get silly, and we learn from each other’s stories.
Volunteers share and you can too... if you want to. Working through each others’ challenges helps everyone heal. We do the fun stuff too... we play games! Do you have a fun idea? Make a suggestion.
Citizens have bright futures ahead of them. We know from experience that divorces get better. Seriously. You’ll meet others who survived their parents’ separation... and guess what? They’re all doing fine. You will too.
