Our group needs a mentor to help us through the growth and development of our nonprofit; someone we can ask questions of, who will share with us how they've seen an issue handled, make suggestions for improvement, share their wisdom overall. We've grown weary of learning everything the hard way. We have been a nonprofit since 2014 and our board and executive director (all volunteers) are very dedicated people with genuine hearts for the local community, and very easy to work with! Shiprock is in the 4 Corners area on the Navajo Nation. The volunteer would be more than welcomed to come and work with us in person in addition to virtual work. This is a great area with rich tradition, and fun things to do.

Growing Our Dreams works with local committees, work groups, and small organizations to meet their goals of holistic community wellness by providing technical assistance in program and community development, serving as fiscal agent for funds received by the groups, and serving as an advocate in obtaining resources for the groups.
