Equal Heart re-distributes overstock from local food retailers and fresh produce from the North Texas Food Bank, directly to individuals, families, and seniors at their apartment complexes. Our goal is to fight hunger by packaging and distributing nutritious grocery boxes to families in need. Feeding 13,000+ people each month takes work and we need your help!
We need help packaging food boxes M-F from 9am-12pm that will be distributed at a low income apartment complex the afternoon of. No heavy lifting is required. After boxes are prepared, some light routine clean-up should be expected. Parking available in our warehouse parking lot.

Description
We deliver federally funded meals free of charge to children at after-school and summer sites throughout the country. In Dallas, TX, we also provide nutritious food to families year round with our Mobile Food Access Network. Additionally, we engage and empower individuals to facilitate our programs through AmeriCorps.
