At Pillsbury, we are fortunate enough to partner with several community organizations and businesses to be able to host one Food Distribution Day for our students each month. Many of our students are low-income but our food distribution day is open to all Pillsbury students with little to no paperwork for the families. No shame.
We are currently looking for community volunteers to help us with set up of this event each month as well as helping during the event.
When: Second Tuesday of every month. Set up: 12:45 to 2 pm Event: 2-4 pm
* Because of strict grant requirements, food donations are only able to be given to Pillsbury students and their families. Volunteers are unable to receive food donations.
** Because of the privacy of our families, we ask that parents of student attending Pillsbury do not sign up to volunteer at this event.

Description
Pillsbury is a public school within the Minneapolis Public Schools District in the beautiful and vibrant Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood of Windom Park. We believe that learning should be fun. With small class sizes and a deidcated staff, our teachers work tirelessly to plan engaging lessons and activities that inspire learning.
We have several events throughout the school year that bring in our surrounding community so that we can learn together and support our children and families.
