In response to a growing need at the Cotton O’Neil Cancer Center, we have developed a NEW rewarding volunteer position.
This position is ideal for helpful and friendly individuals who want to assist in a compassionate and caring environment. Good interpersonal skills and empathy for our patients is also desirable. As patients check in for appointments or treatment, the volunteer ambassador will greet them with a warm smile, accommodate specific needs, and provide ambulatory assistance, if needed.
Flexibility in volunteering for a morning or afternoon position is available to accommodate busy schedules. Other volunteer positions are also available throughout the school year particularly if you are interested in gaining healthcare experience.
To apply for the Ambassador position, go to www.stormontvail.org, the "About" tab, "Volunteer and Auxiliary", then click on "College Volunteer Program - Academic School Year". Once your application is received, Volunteer Services will contact you to set an interview to begin the process of becoming a volunteer.
