Help East Palo Alto Library staff serve free, nutritious meals to families and individuals.
Timing: M-F 2:30-4:30 pm
Commitment: 1x a week for at least 6 months
Volunteers will:
- Serve Meals
- Greet patrons
- Guarantee proper temperature
- Clean up after meal service
- Record Info
The community meal program is open to all patrons, and volunteers must be comfortable working with diverse populations. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the library's most rewarding programs and connecting with the East Palo Alto community.
All volunteers will receive a 1 hour Food Handler's Certification training provided by San Mateo County Libraries and we request volunteers to come 1x a week for at least 6 months.
