Youth M.O.V.E. Miami (YMM) Through the Arts is a youth-led organization Youth M.O.V.E. National. M.O.V.E. stands for Motivating Others through Voices of Experience and that is exactly what we aim to do. We are made up of youth and young adults whose ages range from 14 to 26. Our chapter represents many different cultures and backgrounds, yet we all have a united voice.
Through the use of creative arts we aim to use our individual experiences to promote positive messages about wellness in our community. YMM members give a choice to young people where normally decisions are made by adults. Members of YMM have the opportunity as a young generation to express themselves in creative ways by engaging in several workshops to create their messages such as; poetry and spoken word, art and photography, and drama and skits.
Our program is currently looking for youth and or young adults to be apart of our Steering committee Board. The board members make up youth and some adults to make executive decisions on the direction of program. With a solidified board the program can expand services and apply for grants to help fund our initiatives.

Youth MOVE (motivating others Voices of ExperienceMiami, Inc is 501c3 committed to uniting voices of youth to promote advocacy on social issues involving mental health, substance abuse, personal barriers and community challenges. We cultivate leadership opportunities, promote well-being and advocacy through expressive arts, education and community engagement.
Description
Youth MOVE Miami is a youth-run organization that provides a platform for youth voice and advocacy. We encourage youth to be a part of the decision making process. We strive to support and improve behavioral health services by:
